If it's the song in the Buick commercial with Tiger Woods, I think it's Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Very Superstitous." Is that it?

No, he'a thinking of the one with Edgar Winter's Frankenstein in it.

By the way, Mad Rat, Frankenstein has no words in it. It's purely instrumental. And to be honest, it fits your description of the tune you're looking for.

Find a demo of it and listen to it.

Yeah but Frankenstein doesn't really have an electronica/synth feel to it. I'd guess it could be a Jeff Beck song. He has a lot of instrumentals, he hated singers :D

Blue Wind, Situation, Come Dancing

What? Frankenstein has a huge synth sound to it with organ bending effects.

Lol! I guess so. It always felt like a hard rocking song to me though, than what I thought MadRat was describing.

You could be right :)

<<Edit: Just out of curiousity, were you listening to Z-92? Call them and describe the song to the DJ. They might be able to tell you what it is.>>

Actually it was CD105. I've got an allergic reaction to Todd and Tyler in the mornings... hehe

Next time I hear it on there you bet I'll be calling. This search is driving me nuts! :)

btw - Its more of an orchestra or symphony sound like Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover. You'll be surprised how close it sounds to Cliffs of Dover when we figure this out!

btw - I may have overstated the guitar used it in. Its more of the synthesized guitar sound than an electric or bass guitar.

Eric Johnson's Pavilion? Or maybe Johnson's Camel's Night Out?

Also listen to Trademark by him too. It's much like you describe.

Anyone else have any way to figure out the soundtrack from "Race for Glory (1989)"?

This hunt is driving me, well, mad...

I don't think it was him unless you know of some specific song to target.

Thats pretty cool that you found as much as you did. What search engines you use?

I went to order that video last night and saw that it was suddenly unavailable. I wonder if someone from ATOT picked up the last one! Man, I was hoping to just buy a copy and end the chase once and for all.

I googled, of course. Is there any other? :)

That's weird that it's suddenly out of stock. I can tell you that I didn't order it. :p

This link explains the lack of popularity of Race for Glory (1989)

Gross
$100,326 (USA)

Video Trailer

Terrible gross for a movie that was akin to "Rocky" but on wheel, hehe

LOL, that is pretty bad.

I hate one of the lead actors in that movie, Peter Berg. He was on Chicago Hope and his acting sucked.
