Help with CD Writer!!

Hi, I have a question about copying a cd. Can I use other programs while I copy a cd? For example: Can I browse Internet, play game or using microsoft word while I am copying a cd? Is it going to affect the quality of the cd?

sure, if you can. i'd suggest having a burnproof drive if you're doing this. sometimes the buffer goes wierd and you make coasters. and it should not have any effect on the cd. i burn my cds while playing mp3s, going on website, talking on AIM, and sometimes playing games. and so far no problems.

I do it all the time with no problems and friends of mine freak out over it.

I have burn proof and a boatload of ram (1.5gig). CloneCD shows the buffer states on the fly, and rarely does the buffer react any differently than when it is the only operation going on.

it all depends on the burner and how fast your system is...if you have resources to spare, then you can do other stuff, if you dont, and you dont have burnproof or anything to that effect, then you cant
