On GM cars, it is a good idea to replace the plug wires with the spark plugs. It is very hard to get them off the plugs without doing damage to the wire. Also, put a dab of clear silicone grease (from your auto parts store) in the boot before putting the wire on the plugs. It keeps out moisture and wires will come off easier next time. If you are still getting the misfire then check the 02 sensors. If they are bad the engine will not get the correct amount of fuel. Also change the fuel filter and check the air filter. If you can narrow it down to one cylinder, then it could be the coil pack for that pair. Most likely not the ignition module, as the car probably won't run if it fails. And when you install new plugs be very careful not to cock the wrench. All it takes is a very tiny crack in the plug porcelain to trigger a misfire code.
