help with burning...getting a "cannot perform fixation" error

Hi,

i'm getting a "cannot perform fixation" error message in nero when i'm trying to burn a cd. It doesn't matter what type of cd i'm trying to burn...i still get the same message.

i'm using a 12x scsi cdr on a adaptec 2940uw pci scsi card

is this an indication that the drive is broken?

If you got Easy CD Creator, try using that and see if that gives you an error too.

Otherwise, you can just search for another cd burner proggy too.
 
i tried other burning software progs as well and none of it can burn a cd

i've tried cdrwin and discjuggler...all fail
