I have a quick question that I am sure someone here can answer quickly. I am currently double booting Win 2k and Win Me. Each are on separate partitions--eg. C & D. I have all my applications installed in a separate partition---F. My question is this. I know that in order to save space it is recommended to install an application that I want to use under both OS's separately and into the same install folder.
BUT, can this cause problems? What if under Win 2k the application installer requires extra files or a separate type of application. Can installing the application into the same folder under win 2k and win me cause problems??
Are there any applications that would be better to install separately in different partitions??
Thanks,
BJ
