The screen flicks and then : fatall error . the same with w2k polish ver and new win XP beta ( win 98 works perfectly ) I need win2000 to work . what should i do ? Is it a famous AGP driver problem on VIA chipsets ? or just something else .
I tried to change graphic card or ATA driver ( i have maxtor 40Gb ATA 100 hdd , geforce 2 mx400 grph. and 512 Mb RAM memory) , no results .
Maybe someone has the same problem - plz help me:|

thx for ur interesst but no , there is no anything about boot :(
while setup is inspecting and installing hardware the screen starts to flick and suddenly becomes all blue with text : hardware malfunction : contact ur hardware dealerText :( , ( the progress line is about in the half of the way )
that's it , i personnaly think that it is AGP driver problem on this VIA chipset , W2K has wrong drivers from VIA , but there is no way to put proper driver whithout a system already installed ( during an installation of w2k u can only add SCSII and IDE drivers )

Ok. I am assuming you have the KT133 chipset as shown on this link here
If so, you have an on-board sound controller. Win2K does not like the AC97 controller for some reason. I had the same problem with the Epox 8KTA series of boards. Before you start to install, go into the bios and completely disable the on board sound. Install Win2K, then install the sound drivers from disk. Then you can re-enable the sound in the bios and all will be well.
Cheers
