What exactly is this? what video card will require this type of AGP slot?

I am ordering an Abit K7tA that does not have this should I cancel the order and go with the Asus Av7M that does??

Thanks

The pro slot is for video cards that would work on 25 to 50 watts which I haven't ever seen. There is plastic block to prevent you from misalligning your AGP card. I wouln't even worry about having this feature. I have both an Asus Slot A board and the Abit KT7- Raid and love them both. Either board will be a fine purchase.
Good luck

Yes I have found the Abit a little better overclocker than the Asus but the Asus was a slot A compared to the Socket T-Bird. One nice feature on the Abit is the Soft Menu III which allows overclocking in the Bios without having to switch those little dip swithches. Both are very stable.
