Im using PE2 which Im satisfied with.
I switched from a CRT to an LCD, but now observe that photo images displayed in PE are very dark relative to when being displayed in Windows Picture Viewer (both now on the LCD of course).
The Adobe calibration utility changes the profile of the desktop which affects simultaneously the Win PIX viewer and PE image. PE is unaffected by the Overlay adjustment.
What is needed is to independently be able to change the image settings of either the desk top or the PE (preferably the PE). I dont really see how, but there has to be a way otherwise, in general, PE would be problematic for too many people.
