Help with a New Case

Can someone give me some opinions on this Case ?

Or if you have a better option for a Case under 100 bucks.
I need to get better cooling then what I have now. So it's either cut a whole in the side of my current case.. or get a new one.

one of the best cases you can get, I'd recomend a little bigger version, the one with the hatch and I think 4 or 5 big bays.

I have the full tower version of it

antech PSs are some of the best, i'd say only pc power and cooling is better. the case is extremely high quality, very heavy, the cooling is excellent, it has two fan bays in front and back in addition to the PS fan blowing out. it comes with two fans in the back. i have the 1030 model myself, which is the same thing with a door over the drive and an extra 3 hard drive cage inside.

Antec makes great Power Supplies. As Czar mentioned you may want to look into one of the larger versions of that case. I currently have the SX1040B which has 4 external 5.25 bays. You can get the bigger versions with same PSU for around $106 shipped from newegg. Link to Antec cases at newegg.

By the way, cooling is very good in these cases. As I said earlier I have the 1040B which has two 80mm intakes and 2 80mm blow holes. One of the 80mm intakes blows right over the hard drive cage.

Even though the PSU is good, I say go for the 400W PSU version. There is a chieftek case at newegg which is the same case as Antec with a 420W Channel Well PS. Some people claim that the same power supply is used by Antec. In any case it is an excellent PS and the price was below $100 shipped. Right now it is out of stock but it might come in stock soon.

Beige or black?

Is This Case the one you guys are talking about?

Does black get too hot?
I have a problem with my room getting to warm. I mainly need a new case to keep everything cooler.

The case I have now only supports a front fan and the ps fan.
with a ti500 and a 1.2 thunderbird it gets perty hot.

I have the Antec SX-1240 and I love it, I got it at Microcenter B&M for $95.00plus tax on sale about a year ago, nice attention to detail with these cases, all rolled edges, removable drive cages, snap mount fan brackets......

Check here at Pricegrabber for prices, cheapest for me shows $144.00 shipped, it would be different for you depending on your zipcode.

If you got this case you would NEVER need to buy another case EVER (and it looks cool too 😀)

Does outpost have free shipping? when you decide on a case you should check Pricegrabber for the best price, it calculates shipping and shows the best total price.

Antec makes good cases. I wouldn't go with black, though, unless the rest of your components are black. They are a little on the heavy side. It is something to think about if you're a LAN goer, but I think it is worth the extra weight for the quality. The color doesn't effect temps in any way.
