I just received my Epox 8K7A mobo along with a Global Win FOP38 HSF and Arctic Silver. The Arctic Silver came in a small plastic tube that was open when I received it. Is it supposed to be fairly thick paste that doesnt move at all when its turned upside down?
Secondly, the HSF didnt come with the 3 pin to 4 pin adapter that would allow me to run the fan off my Power Supply instead of the mobo 3 pin connector. The warning right on the HSF box says not to use the 3 pin connector, but to connect it directly to your power supply.
Where can I get this adapter? It didnt come with the HSF.
