Help with a good LCD

I need a good LCD (not for gaming, MAYBE a dvd). Mainly just internet and typing. I want to spend under $500 if possible. It will be 15". I heard the eizo L365 is good. What else? Viewsonic? Samsung?

Looks like your finding the same as me that decent reviewage of LCD's is hard to come by, yeah?

Ive just ordered a NEC 1550M to keep my 1550V's company 🙂

The specs are just about the same as the Eizo, and i suspect it uses the same screen. Eizo uses NEC/Mitsubish screens IIRC.

Its a bit cheaper than the L365 but has USB ports which is what swayed me.

It should arrive tomorrow fingers crossed, so i'll let you know what i think compared to my cheaper and lesser specced 1550V's.
