I have a dell xps 400 desktop, today while onlin i got a blue screen with messages, i rebooted the computer and now all i get at boot up is this message on a black background screen:

X300XT Bios P/N 113-A33437-102

the pc willnot go into windows or anthing, is anyone has a system like this one, you may have notice the 3 numbers that lid on the front by theusb ports, they go in sequence 3 the 1 and 2 at the same time and they stay lid, i was told this is like a harware check or something anyways if anyone have a clue i can use the help. So far all i did was took the side of te case off and resetted the jumper for the bios and also took the little battery out for a while but that didn't do a thing.

Run a mem test with memtest86+ and see if you get errors.
Check for overheating cpu
Check for bulging caps on the motherboard.
Run HDD diagnostics available from the manuf
See if safe mode works
Try to reload to rule out software

Here is a Link to the page in the XPS400 manual explaining the light codes.
Can you get into the bios screen? if so see if it "sees" the hard drive if not check the connections to the hard drive both power and data note this will be a SATA drive so be very careful as it is very easy to break the connector at the drive. If no change and if you have access to a good PSU I would try that next as I remember the XPS400 used a 375 watt std ATX. As suggested above try a bootable CD with memtest and see what happens. Then we will see where we can go from there.
