Help with 9800 Pro

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone can help me out to find the exact problem. I purchased Sapphire 9800 PRO about 3 months ago, which now seems to be a bad decision. I have used it without any problem until now. I have not overclocked it and that's fine with the game I play. Now, after 3 or 4 minutes I start to play, my computer gets freezed. Sometimes I hear sounds sometimes it just gone dead. I have it installed to XP1600 machine that has a joystick port. Because of this joystick port, I can't test it in another machine. Is there any way I can find out whether this graphic card is gone bad without pulling it off from the machine?
