HELP with 9600SE

I put a 9600se in a new computer and windows does not see it in the agp slot. First off does it matter. I think it does but i might be wrong. Please help me fix it.

If you have booted into windows, Windows must see some sort of video card. If you've installed the latest Catalyst drivers, can run outside of 640x480x8, and run your games, then its working as well as you can expect a 9600SE to work.

windows sees it in pci slot

Run DXDIAG and see if it says AGP texture acceleration is enabled. If so, you are good to go. If not, you need to reinstall your mobo chipset drivers.

Erm, do you mean it shows up like this when you check in Device Manager? If so, that's perfectly OK.
