Help..wireless problem when there is the 5th computer connect to the router

I have dlink 514 wireless router..when I just add the fifth computer to the wireless network this fifth computer can only sent signal, but it cannot receive...the status shows that the receive is 0 kp ...do i need access point..the fifth compuer is next room to the room that have the wireless router..please help..thanks

If you use WinXP Home you might exceed the allowed number of connections.

is there a way I can set the number of connections in WinXpHome ..one connection is wire from router to the main computer and the other four connections are wireless..can there anything be done to get the fifth computer working..thanks
