My client PC sometimes connects and sometimes doesn't.

I'm using onboard lan as my connection in. A 3Com card as the 2nd nic in the host and another NIC in the client.

I have everything setup as DHCP and when I first hooked it up it worked fine but now it's not working at all. Sometimes when I reboot the client it'll work but for the past 2 days nothing? Is there anyway I can set the client up with a static 192.168.x.x IP so it'll know what to look for so to speak?

I've checked here
ICS1
and here

ICS2

Every website seems to have a different way to configure ICS and this used to work great when I was in college now it's zip.
Anyway I'm leaving for work now and won't be home till 11:00 tonight so thats why I probably won't reply to whoever does.

Thanks for any help and any sites that are useful. If anyone knows of a really detailed site with instructions on how to set it up please feel free. Oh before anyone mentions a router that isn't an option at this point.

thanks

Thanks JackMDS. I searched before posting and I figured you would reply ;)

I'm really debating a router just to get rid of ICS but at least for another 2-3 weeks it'll have to be ICS.

Is that Belkin router sufficient for what I need? I mean will any router do? I have a hub but whats involved with the router. Do I just plug everything in and set it up to DHCP?

thanks

Ok I've tried WinProxy and getting the same thing. One note I didn't mention is the client (running win2k pro also) can obtain an IP address using ICS and WinProxy but still won't load webpages. Any ideas?
