I just installed the full version of Win ME over my Win 95 today, and so far I have found one problem. Whenever I going through my folders on my main harddrive and I right click or am about to delete a file, the A: drive begins to be accessed like it's searching for something. After the A: drive finishes accessing (no errors come up), everything resumes as it would normally do. This isn't a major problem, but it is really getting on my nerves hearing the A: drive trying to load every single time I want to delete a file from my C: drive. I'm guessing something went wrong when Win ME configured all my hardware. Has this happened to anyone else? I have absolutely no clue how to fix it.

Check one of two things:

1) Check your PATH statement to make sure your A drive isn't in your path.

Or finally:

Remove the link to the A-Drive from your SendTo folder, usually located at C:\WINDOWS\SENDTO, but it could be at C:\WINDOWS\PROFILES\STYRTY\SendTo, depending on if you've setup your machine for multiple users.

Hey, thanks JCarter! Really appreciate your help. Could you happen to tell me where I can check my PATH statement? I tried out the second thing you told me and it worked, but I'd also like to try out your first suggestion too.
