Help! wierd hardware problem! 50% CPU usage at idle...

Ok, I jsut installed win2k on a dual P3-450 box. (Tyan Tiger 100 motherboard).

I get a constant CPU usage around 50%, even when doing nothing. When I show processes, in the task manager, nothing is lsited at more than 2-3%, msot things at ), with "system idle process" usually at 99%, but when I look at the performance graph, it's 50% CPU usage all the time...

I'm checking this out, cause DVD's are skipping (might just be the 450's, but sill 50% CPU usage is bad).

Any ideas? I've installed all the stuff from windows update.
 
Do you have any printer software/drivers installed?

My friend was having that problem with his Win2k install, and it turned out that the HP photosmart software was causing all the usage.
