Help!!! Which song is this??? Name that tune

I heard a cool song on the radio a couple weeks ago and now I am trying to figure out what song it is so I can download the MP3.

I don't know the artist or the song title. I assume it's a new song.

The only piece of the lyrics I remember is: "I never thought that you would be the one"
or something like that.... but when I Google search for that string I dont find any answers.

It was a girl singing... she sounded sort of like Mariah Carrie

It was fast paced - a good dance song.

Does anyone know what the name/artist of this song is???

It definitely wasn't Michele Branch's 'Everywhere' - they play that song all the time and I recognize it.

The song I'm looking for I've heard only once... it was on station Z100 in NYC... at approximately 8pm on a Monday night... possibly December 10th.

I had looked on Google and found that waterfront link... but I don't know if that's the song I'm looking for. No sign of waterfront on amazon or morpheus.

I think they had a audio sample but I wasnt able to use it on the PC I was using... I'll take another look at it when I get home. Thanks
