I am clueless! any websites where I can get this card? btw one more question. I plan to go for the Maxtor 40GB 7200RPM disk. Am I doing the right thing?

Hmm - have you looked at the Kyro II?

That may be something you might like ... :D

Get the Radeon LE, not VE.

I think you can find it at newegg, which is a very good online retailer by the way. Search around on rage3d for information on how to hack the LE to make it into a regular Radon. You will also find the hacking utility on rage3d.

Hope that helps.

If you value DVD over gaming, the radeon is indeed your best choice. It has the best TV-out you can find and a lot of MPEG-hardware assistance. Gaming performance is more or less equal to a GeForce MX

<< or a geforce 2 mx, you can overclock and get it close to a gts. >>

No you can't. :| You *might* be able to get it close to a Geforce DDR speed, but NOT a GTS! Unless you spend as much on cooling as you would just getting a GTS in the first place. ;)

Radeon LE is the best deal around.... with the patch a 78 dollar card turns into a 120 dollar one.... this is the card to buy (if you don't want TV out and stuff like that )
