Ok, my 21st b-day is in a couple of months. I want my fiancé and me to take a little trip, where should we go? We will be leaving on June 29th or the 30th and be returning on July 4th. We don?t want to go outside of the U.S.
Help! Where should we go?

Hawaii.
Maui: Waikiki Beach = great waters and snorkeling, extremely fun place.
Oahu: WWII stuff, interesting.
The Big Island: Volcanos up the wazoo. There are also hikes in/around volcanoes and you can actually see lava flows up close.
Kuai: Has the most natural vegetation/wildlife.
Tip: If you go to Maui, do NOT take the "Road to Hanah". Its a scenic, relativly quiet 2-lane-road around the whole Island. Very sceneic, very dangerous (ie 20 foot drops with no side rails + skinny lanes), and very very long. Gets quite boring after an hour or so.
Tip 2: Don't try to go everywhere with your time frame. Pick 1 or 2 Islands and have fun. Island hopping is generally done by plane and most of the flights are early in the morning. Plus you'll want to stay up late I imagine
. <8 hours of sleep on vacation = not fun.

Odd, I totally disagree. We went to Maui last Christmas and took the Road to Hana. It was probably the most beautiful drive in the world. There's different stops on the way that make it fun. You can go to a park off the road that has animals and some beautiful landscapes. There's a town about midway on the trip that you can stop and eat in. If you continue on, you travel around the rest of the island and it looks totally different (i.e. rock formations and rolling hills).
There's a small church off the beaten path on the Road to Hana. It's on a small cliff that has black sand beaches. I mean if you want romantic....

Great place to be if you're 21.
When I hit 21 I was stationed in Norfolk. Went to virginia beach. An older lady picked me up while I was drinking. She dragged me back to the hotel and boinked me until I couldnt see straight.
Nice gal. I think she was 34. Aerobics instructer. Cute, tan, horny. What more could a guy want?
I believe the club was called Peabodys.

Would New Orleans be a good trip? I also thought about Biloxi MS.
I suggested Vegas to him. He suggested Tunica since it is closer. We have a short time frame which is really limiting us, but it is the only time I could get off work.
If you have never been to Vegas I would go there if I were you, when I was you(for my 21st) I went to Vegas and had a blast.:thumbsup:
