Definately the memory, get 512 more MB for $40. Or, even better get 1GB more for $80.
Get an X800XL AGP for $250. You might need a new powersupply for $70. Get an XP90 + Panaflo L1A (about $50) and overclock that bad boy.

$80 + $250 + $70 + $50 = $450 = Happy owner.

Thanks, I was thinking of getting a new processor and motherboard but this may work. I'll research a on overclocking the Athlon 1.2.

What kind of ram does your system take? PC133? I don't know if it would be a good idea to invest more money in PC133 ram... (or do i have this wrong?)

A quick alternative:

A64 3000+ $150
budget NF4 motherboard $80
gig of pc3200 $80
6600gt or X800 for under $200
xclio 450watt psu $50

Yes it's PC133. A proc and mb upgrade was my first thought. Since I have no experience with overclocking, maybe this upgrade path will be smoother.

Thanks to you all guys. A64 3000+, NF4 mb, a 420+ watt ps and a 6600GT seems to be a good deal.

I'll read some reviews and make up my mind soon. You should all become financial advisors.

I'm pretty sure you will have to upgrade your powersupply with that setup.
