Whenever I boot up, I get a BSOD with some error msg reading 0x0000007B right when WinXP starts to load up... and I have a no effing clue what is causing this problem!
I've spent the last 3 days switching components back and forth in my 1st machine trying to isolate the culprit. I've swapped the PSU,Videocard, hd, Ram, mobo & CPU out but I still get that message. Stripped everything out and rebuilt the machine all over again with just a video card, ram and hd... still get the message
I low level & normaly formated my hd, reinstalled WinXP (setup went without a hitch), but I still get the BSOD at the same spot when loading WinXP.
Plugged the hd from my 2nd maching into my 1st machine, BSOD
Plugged the hd from my 1st machine into my 2nd machine, all is fine.
This problem seems to be isolated to my 1st machine, yet I've pratically switched out all the components except for the case.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I'm totally busting a nut trying to figure this out!!! :|
My 1st machine specs:
P3700e on an Asus CUSL2
