I think he's trying to make GenesTech, judging from the basics listed in his first post.
 
Sorry I was in a hurry, I am making... Well in a sense I won't be doing much of the making per say. But I want to get together a few people probably 5-10 to help me put together a website about computers.

Some of the website will consist of this:

Hardware and Benchmarks
Forums
New Stuff
Games that should be checked out


And a lot more...

it dawned on my tonight that we have too many sites split up, Anandtech is a great site of course BUT... it lacks some other things like Gaming/development and Pricing it's main check are it's forums. I want to make a site that can have everything all in one place and MAYBE in the future gain donations that will go to all the people contributing. It might seem a little farfetched and it probably is... but hey if everything doesn't turn out the way it should what do we have to lose? Well if anyone is with me eigther respond on here or contact me at one of these places:

It's Non-Profit it's not a site in my name no GENE tech. I actually thought of a name but like I said before this is a TEAM effort and I want everyone opinions that want to help out int he project. My idea for a name was TechTime.com all domains and hosts will be paid for by me. I will also do a lot of the research and I will be helping with some of the orginization etc. and setting things up. I'm not the LEAD of anything really I just want to form a "Crack" team so we can all make somthing. I just thought it would be fun/worthwhile and a good cause and I was wondering if anyone agree's and wants to help. And this is the only place I can think of to ask without egotisticle idiots.
 
What kind of website is it? Theres already tons of technology related websites and if you're not focusing on any specific product it's going to be hard to get it off the ground

I know it's not going to be easy that's why we need more people to help I allready have 3 people that I know personally to help out with information. I just need HTML builders and other people willing to help on other stuff like forums, research, game maniacs, price checks and have a good grasp on incoming technology/games/news etc.

I'm not really sure how gamefaqs factors into all this but would this basically be website that features reviews and lets you shop for things? I'm assuming you wont be like newegg in the sense that you'll be selling things yourself and will simply offer prices?
 
Go away noob...no pay = no play. I doubt there will be anyone on here that is somewhat intelligent that will waste their time designing a site for you not to mention doing analysis on parts. Anandtech lacks nothing you just suck at life.

 
Well Czech I see I found the first dumbfounded person on anandtech. 🙂 Anyways in a sense NO it won't be newegg for the shopping part but it will list prices on all parts well most. If you guys don't want to help then don't but I came here with good intentions what you guys decide to do is up to you.
 
I'm not getting paid to do it and I'm going to be doing just as much work, hell im going to be paying for the domain/host so I'm actually going to lose the money. If you don't like what I'm trying to do then don't post simple as that. I'm not telling anyone to go against their own will and help me slavery is just that am I doing that? no. IF ALL YOU PEOPLE WANT ARE MONEY YOUR JUST SAD
