Ok well I wanted to upgrade my PSU and chnage my case for my Dimension 8400. My two questions are

1. Are there any guides for changing your Dimension 8400 cases?

2.Will this fit nicely in my 8400? http://www.xoxide.com/ultra-xfinity-600w-titanium.html

3. Any reccomendations for PSUs or any "In your face evidence" to rpove that my 8400 PSU is good? (please I have no money T_T)

Thanks =]

Are you experiencing any problem with your system? Why are you upgrading the PSU? PSU's are pretty standard in size, although some system integrators like Dell, Compaq and HP do sometimes use different style PSU's (extra wire), otherwise, the size should be the same.

Dell motherboards, cases, and PSUs can be proprietory and not be compatable with standard ATX.

Check the USB, and front IO connectors on your Dell. Those may not be compatible with other cases. Dell uses its own connectors.

The only way that you could do this is by changing the motherboard as well!

(I had to when I did the same thing to my Dell 4550)
