it's called "bag + 1"..

i can use as many bags as i want..like plastic bags, paper bags, just like bags from stores, etc.. and then pick any other item like tape, string, or something liek that and use the bags and the item to make something..

we're suppose to think about advertisting, big business, capitalism, hte homeless, recycling, fasion, clothing...

any ideas on waht to make w/ bags? :sad2:

Throw a bunch of different bags together in a pile and call it a landfill. All of the controversial issues you listed could correlate with a landfill somehow.

Sort of involved, but you could do sort of a hang man type deal using wal-mart bags. Make the noose, stand, etc out of wood and then cover it in plastic wal-mart bags. Inside the noose, hanging dead could be a stuffed charicature of a person, but instead of having a face, arms, etc etc use bags of local retailors instead. Its sort of ham fisted but it could represent the impact that Wal-Mart has on local business.

Or if you wanted to get controversial, construct two big towers with paper mache. Make the paper you use advertising for SUVs, luxury stores like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Banana Repub, etc. Then have flying towards it an airplane shaped construct of clear bags with pages of the Koran filling the insides. Thats pretty hokey too but what can ya do

Hah, I actually wish they did more of this stuff... how the hell am I supposed to apply the price equilibriums of labor markets when I'm trying to put together an ad campaign?

Anyway, here's an idea:


Use Rakki's idea of a globe only make 3-D dollar signs and put them inside of it. You can use straws/pipe cleaners to set up the frames for the globe and each 3-D block dollar sign and wrap the globe with a few layers of plastic bags, preferrably clear ones so you can still see what's inside. Then you could wrap the frames of the dollar-signs with paper from brown paper bags and seal them inside the plastic globe.
