Your right. Neroshow time still does exhibit the distortion. I've installed the latest drive, using driver cleaner after removing the old ones. My guess is that it's my 6600GT.

If you can think of anything else software or driver wise I could try let me know.

I think you can make Nero Showtime go into VMR9 mode too. Almost any player these days you can.

Yeah, I'd just like to solve the overlay problem. It really drives me nuts when things don't work. I probably should do a complete format in the near future anyways. If that doesn't sovle the problem it's new video card for me!

I'll get a chance to test the display in a week or so when the new one show's up.

You might t try another earlier driver, the new driver may have an overlay issue.

I've tried my original drivers (on CD with the card), more recent ones and the most recent ones. Nothing changes. Still fine under HQ and interference without it (using overlay i guess).

I'll see what happens when the new flat panel show's up. I still think it's a problem with the card or display.
