Looks like the scam artist has been banned on a different forum...

Alxnguyen, bumbangbang banned.

Effective immediately, this user is no longer allowed to post on the forums.

I personally find the previous actions by this individual to be absolutely horrible, and no longer wish for this user to be associated in any way with FatWallet.Com.

I am happy to provide further information to anyone who has proof that they have been financially harmed by this individual.

I hope that this individual will get their wits about them and "do the right thing" in a short period of time.

I will make a plea to all FatWallet members not to carry on about this matter, and to put it behind us. We've lived it, We've learned, Lets move along.

That address was from dealing with him about 2 months ago.I don't remember the exact date (I'm at work)... I'll check when I get home.

sygyzy, no sorry... I was relating to the story with first hand info... I have not seen where it may and probably is in an online paper. I will check and see if I can find it and edit, put it here...
 
Also his name on napster is alxnguyen and he is in the music business because i saw that he has composed his own music. And also i have seen pictures of this guy from some site he gave me and it told me some info about him like his residence and bunch of personal crap but that was before he screwed anyone on these forums so if you go on napster nad happen to see him ask him for a link to that site


 
I really hope you just aren't assuming that because they have the same name. There are thousands of guys out there with the same name, you better do a little more checking besides his name to know whether it's him.
 
no it actually is him because on his site it sates his residence which mackes up with the one posted earlier on this thread
 
Hmmm...bunch of guys from this forum tracks down and beats up the wrong Alex Nguyen in Seattle...CNN headline; "White supremacists attacks innocent asian in the Northwest"...which inflames Vietnamese community resulting massive riots in the streets...better hope these guy dont throw rocks as well as them Palestinians, otherwise we're in trouble 😕
 
Seriously guys, clean it up a little. We shouldnt be stooping to his level. This guy should get prosecuted fairly severly if all parties involved simply hire an attourney and go to work. Heck, maybe what this thread should start is a:

"donate x amount of money to see Alex go to jail..."

I will guaruntee 50 dollars from myslef to see this jack@ss come to justice.

And about all of these "asian / white" racist comments. How do you know that the person making said accusations is white? I am not white, and I can tell you first that I would hope that this thread would not start such rediculous comments. It is RACIST to ASSume that the person making such comments is white. Heck, some of the MOST racist people I know ARE asians. Of course, alot of the most racist people I know are white too... 🙁 SO lets focus on the task at hand: Get Alex BUSTED! whos in?

I'm vietnamese and I want this boy to do justice. I just got an email back from him saying he will send my phone out tomorrow. I said he sent it out on 9/30 and USPS probably lost the package. Now he says he's going to send it out? The stories don't add up.
 
I haven't dealt with this guy but I have been following the thread, here and elsewhere. He has admitted he lied, and lied repeatedly, so anything he told me now, when he was under pressure, I would not just blindly take as gospel.

If it was me, I would demand, not ask, demand, that my items or my money were sent ASAP with some form of tracking number. That way you'd know within 24 hours whether he actually mailed you something or whether he's bullshitting you again.

If he refused or delayed I would phone the Washington State Police in Seattle as well as the Seattle Attorney General's Office and explain the situation. I'm sure they would be happy to help. I just recently had to contact the Orgeon state police and AG's office because of a bad trader on this board. They were both informed and helpful and while I didn't ultimately need their help, they were more than willing to offer their services. I'm sure their counterparts in Washington State would act the same way.

He might act as if it's no big deal, but the authorities do not take such a cavalier attitide, even for a small amount of money. What he did is considered a breach of federal law, since interstate transfer of money, through the mail, was involved. The wire fraud statutes are very tough and a preliminary visit or phone call from these offices should be enough to get your money or items sent to you.
 
I think it's naive to criticize those who assume the racist commentators are white. Sure, you shouldn't assume anything but the perfect example is the user who posted the "White Supremists..." comment. I really doubt there are a bunch of asians on this board making fun of someone of their own race. Everyone is upset no doubt but I really think this level immaturity should stop. Just my $0.02

I did not deal with him, but reading it just made me mad. all he said was "i needed the money, im sorry", apparently he just 'borrowed your money' and now he covered his tracks, (or was getting scared by your actions), he'll refund it (hmm, will he?).

What he did is wrong, and like someone on that post said, he has screwed ppl in many states over the whole country, so he did some serious crimes. I want him to get punished for his actions. Because if u read his post, it's as if he is saying "haha i fooled u idiots, and im off the hook! haha". he must be shown that what he did was seriously wrong. ($2000+ total!)

And for ppl that are saying they will lock him out from this board or others. how can someone lock someone out? can't they just get new Email and New log name and log on? and if he uses anolog modem, he'll have different IP address too. It is real sad that a senior memeber like that has done such thing. now im more skeptical about buying things on posts, and knowing just their name and address. Anyone have any tip for safer trading? is COD the only way?
 
I read the explanation. Talk about lame ... his justification for his action was unneccessary and lame. I think people shouldn't let him off easily.

I think Alex should reimburse everyone their money + interest for the grief he put everyone through. That's the only way he can patch up what damage he has caused.
 
Ok, this shouldn't be that hard. Bust his sorry @$$. If anyone lives in Seattle area, call the cops and make sure he gets in jail (and get some ass luvin from inmates hehe). If anyone did this kind of $h17 to me, I would make sure he never does it again. Obviously, this character sounds fishy, and I felt like calling the cops at Seattle myself (I live in Hawaii), but I can't since I haven't ordered anything from him and gotten ripped off. All he can say is, &quot;I needed the money&quot; well screw him. He has no reason to rip off innocent people for his own good. What a greedy inconsiderate bastard

Why wouldn't you deal with an 18 year old Vietnamese guys from Seattle? How about one from LA? I mean come on. What's Seattle got anything to do with this guy except that he lives there? He hardly represents the Vietnamese populatin in that city.

I say this guy needs more than a beating. He needs to be humiliated by the press. You know the kind of humiliation that any other thief would get. His picture and name should go up on everything internet auction and for trade/sale site. Hehehe Now that would be justice.

Wooster... i found the link from the washington state homepage under online services. check your own state.... www.state.[two letter state code].us ... eg www.state.wa.us for washington.. i actually wanted to see whether i can find our beloved friend nguyen address from WA DMV but i found that site instead.
