Help upgrading old system

I've got a Cyrix 233 (socket 7) system here that I'm trying to get usable enough for a friend to get on the internet. My guess is that it uses a 66Mhz FSB, so what is the fastest CPU I can get for it? I hope to be able to get them able to do AIM, E-mail & IE for under $40.
