help tune up turned into a problem

I need to get brake chaged but everything else was fine. While at advance auto parts I decided to get everything for tune up, spark plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel, air filter etc... after leaving the shop everything was fine this morning I started hearing some weird noise and vibration, now service engine soon light came on. is it safe to drive? what could this freaking mechanic do to cause this, did he unscrew or one of the wires or plugs not installed correctly?

thanks any help

how does this hose look like? where its located

There's quite a few of them. What you want to do is get some carb cleaner and spray around some of the hoses under your hood. If you locate the right hose, you'll probably see some bubbling around the area and your idle will slightly raise. You might want to get a repair manual for your vehicle and check the vacuum hose routing.

In addition, if it's a vacuum hose you should be able to hear a slight hissing sound. If you have spare hose around, try to cut it to about two feet in length then hold it to your ear to use it as a stethoscope. Be careful you don't put the hose near belts or anything turning. It might also be something simple.

Check your wires. Does it feel like it's running on three cylinders (assuming you have four)?

i guess i will go to autozone to read with scanner error code during lunch go to him but is it safe to drive
