Help - Tryin to remotely access PC

Both PCs are running XP Home edition. I want to run Newsbin on the host computer from my computer, so that I can download files from newsgroups to that computer. I am currently trying PCAnywhere and realize it is painfully slow.

I pretty much want to be able to rhave best performance possible running newsbin. I found out about remote desktop control through windows but unfortunately I got xp home. Is there a way to install it onto XP Home edition? What would you recommend for what I want to do?

realVNC

ultraVNC

regular ol VNC

search for "remote" on this forum and you will see a TON of threads about it...

What is your opinion about pcAnywhere?

Not free and it's overkill if you just want to remotely control another PC. VNC is the way to go IMO, or maybe RDP.
