help to choose new gpu

Hey! guys. i want to upgrade my gts 450.just a bit higher.for some photoshop and video. just tell me what you think.
O! and also a ssd 128 gb.
my spec.are asus m4a88t-m
ram hyperx 1600 red 16gb
phenom llx4 975
antec 750
WD black 500gb

What's your budget for the upgrade? An SSD will make a big difference in Photoshop and video editing, but the GPU won't make a huge difference in either.

128GB is about $70-80... Might as well double up on size for ~$40-50 more.

Radeons are overpriced right now. Unless you want to get into scrypt mining, I would highly advise you to get an nvidia card right now.

With that budget, I would get an SSD plus a new CPU/mobo combo. That'd give you a much bigger performance increase in Photoshop and a video editing than upgrading your GPU would. This is because the GTS 450 is new enough that you can take advantage of GPU acceleration already, and Adobe products' GPU performance scales very poorly with card power.
