Hi,
I'm having trouble choosing between two boards for my new Athlon XP2000/GeForce4 4600 system. Here are my choices:

Abit KR7A + Audigy sound card
Asus a7n266c (the nForce without video)

I've heard the Audigy card eats up much more CPU time than the nForce audio. That true? Is the Asus a good board?

The abit board will run faster and have more overclocking options than the asus. I've had better luck with abit customer service. Newegg had the kr7a-133 for only $99 shipped (refurbished with 30 day warranty). They also had the asus a7v-266e with raid for only $123 shipped (refurbished).
