My Soyo Dragon Plus BIOS doesn't seem to recognize that my VisionTek GeForce4 TI 4600 is a 4x AGP card. The highest AGP it will allow me to set is 2x. I've tried the card on other motherboards, and they detect the card as a 4x. I've run powerstrip on my system and it tells me that my card is a 4x card, but that my BIOS doesn't support 4x. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Or has anyone been able to get these two to work together properly? Other 4x cards are detected properly by my BIOS. This appears to only occur with this combination of board and card. Soyo insists that this is a problem with the GeForce4 chipset, but I don't know whether to believe them or not. Any thoughts on this?
