About a week ago I upgraded my bios so that the system would see all 60 gig of my hard drive(only saw 30 gig with old bios).
I downloaded the current bios off of Soyo's site - ba5 -(old was ba3) and flashed the bios.
System has been giving me all sorts of problems and I am unable to use highpoint controllers(66) - when I called Soyo they said the new bios were for Windows XP only - the tech acknowledged the fact that the Web page fails to mention that point.
I decided to reflash my bios back to the original bios so that the system would run as it did, however I can not get the command to flash the bios to be read by the computer. I can boot off of the "A" drive but when I enter the command - awdflash xxxxx.bin the system returns - "general failure reading drive A:"
Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?:disgust:
