To sum it up I asked if there was a 4:5 memory ratio available in dell laptops to get the DDR2700 memory working at full speed, and this guy believes a 1:1 ratio with the memory @ 266MHz would be faster than a 4:5 ratio with the memory @ 333MHz on the memory bandwidth starved P4 architecture. (chip is 2.66 P4-M, 533FSB)
Since this is partly CPU related (effect of CPU FSB on the memory) I'm kindly asking the regulars here to put this one to rest
