Hello, I'm in the process of setting up windows xp on my SATA hard drive, the drive itself is recognized in the BIOS as 250gb, I made the floppy disk for SATA drivers, started installing windows and everything seemed to be going fine until... 131070MB is all that is being recognized / formatted by windows XP. I am curious why this is so small, there are no partitions and the only thing I did was remove a jumper from the back of the HD to enable 3.0gb/s before installing the drive itself.

Googled 131070 MB and found something that supports what I initially suspected:
"the problem here is that you need a xp cd which includes either sp1 or sp2
in order to correctly see the full capacity of your 200Gb hdd.
xp without sp1 or sp2 is limited to seeing 137Gb on a hdd.
cheers"
