Help set up my new Hyundai L90D+

I got it today and so far am very happy but I can't get the driver to work. All there is in the driver folder is two ICC files, they won't work for the driver since I tried updating the Plug + Play Monitor driver windows is using. I heard about someone on newegg having the same problem. Also do I not need to adjust the colors, I heard many LCD's come with color tuning programs. I think so far its more crisp than my Phillips 17" CRT, the colors may not be quite as good though.

ICC (International Color Consortium) files help calibrate the monitor's colors with that of web page sRGB, your printer, scanner, etc. They are not drivers. Monitors do not require drivers other than the standard, unless there are special resolution modes.

I also just got this monitor like 3 days ago, I have a dead pixel in the middle of my screen nice and bright. Bought it from newegg, but now I have to call hyundai to exhange it and I live in Hawaii on top of that with high priced shipping.

On some games I see flickering here and there, I figure the flickering is a driver problem, I also tried updating with those 2 files and it cannot. What drivers are you guys using, I did extensive search
They have a L90D driver on hyundai site can that also be used for the L90D+

Driver instalation:

-put CD in
-open control panel>display>settings>advanced>monitor>properties>driver>
update driver>no, not this time>Install from a list or specific location(advanced)>don't search. I will choose the driver to install>Have Disk>Browse to L90D+ on your CD> install

That is about it. Shut off your antivirus and other programs before installing.
Good luck.

Here is the problem that I have with my monitor

It happened again.
Any suggestions?

Says it cannot find a better match then the software that you already have.
Do you have to uninstall the old driver before doing this???

I don't know if you should uninstall old drivers first. For other hardware I would but in this case I didn't.

As for installation, don't let windows look for drivers, I think that if you follow what I wrote you will make it, but maybe I wrote it incorectly. Anyway it can be installed that way so try again. It took me a few trys and I got to the same point as you but I didn't give up until I found out the right route. I think that pressing that Have Disk button is the answer. From there on I am not sure where to go but if you get there you are on the right path.
