Ok, basically i just swapped the ram on a system. The problem is it wont boot up again. Cant get into bios, etc..it wont flash the lights on the keyboard or anything. When i try to boot up, it turns on, reads the hd, then stops right there, no beep. The other thing is when i pull the ram out, it does give me the no ram beep like it should. Any ideas, solutions?

Help me out!!

Did you pull the power plug from the powersupply before inserting the new memory module?

Sometimes flea power is enuff to hose your motherboard when changing hardware.

Yup, i did all that. And believe it or not, it is recommended that you turn the main power off and leave the power plug in while working on your computer for grounding. Sound odd? it does to me, but that is the 'correct' way to do it. Any other suggestions?

Damn these machines...I figured it all out. Somehow the processor came loose. After i didnt get a beep for the ram not being in, i figured mobo or cpu. So i pulled the cpu out, put it back in, and it fired back up just like it should. Thanks for your input though guys
