I recently sold an item on ebay for $60 and received a prompt payment from the winning bidder. After giving him positive feedback for the prompt payment and mailing the package, he sent me an email stating that my description was misleading because I stated "brand new" but the plastic wrapping was taken off. I did not argue with him whether or not if it my description was misleading because the plastic wrapping was taken off and I was rushing through the description. He stated that he wanted full refund including all shipping charges so he can purchase another one from ebay before it sells out. Without much hesitation, I gave him a full refund from Paypal with a note requesting the total amount for the shipping charge amount to send it back as well because I thought that if he was willing to pay me first, he'd probably be willing to send it back.

Well, It has been over a week since his last email stating that he couldn't mail it last monday because he was busy with work and it'll take a couple of days. I sent him another email recently requesting an update but it seems like he's not going to reply because he usually replies within the same day. I'm basicly down the hole by about $100 including the cost of the item I sold and ebay/paypal fees. So am i pretty much screwed? Is there anything I can or should do about this?

I would never leave a positive feedback until I get a positive feedback on my part.
I got my only negative feedback from ebay because the bidder claimed that I ripped him off for shipping and I already gave him a positive feedback and I couldn't do anything.

For you... I think you've already lost that $100

You should've waited until the buyer ships the item back before you refund everything.

For one thing, feedback is kind of iffy. I understand that people wait until the other side leaves feedback, but doing so only delays the feedback process. In any event, never leave feedback until both sides are happy with the outcome. Its a little too soon right now, I'd still wait a week or so. Since you already sent him the package (confirmed Paypal Address?), I think you can start a thread on AT FS/T Forum requesting the Troll Hunters or anyone that lives near him to pay him a visit.
