Help Restoring BIOS Colors

Rubicone

I seemed to have lost the colours when going in the BIOS. Don't know how exactly happened. But it occured when I was in there checking on something. Must have touched some key and then the display all turned black and white. How can I regain the original setting as loading the default values has not helped. TIA.

It has been a long time since I've seen a BIOS where you could enable/disable/change colors for the bios display. I would go thru all the screens of settings looking for something that might apply (like having primary video card set to PCI rather than AGP, etc.). If you don't see anything, just record any special BIOS settings you may have and clear the CMOS. Then go back into the bios after boot and add your special settings. See if that works.

Look at the bottom of your BIOS main menu, you'll seem something that says "(Shift) F2 - Change Color"

Simply hit F2 to cycle through all the available color schemes, some BIOSes it might be F5.
