System Specifications:
I. Processor/CPU:
Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Socket LGA1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
II. Current Graphics Card:
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5 Vapor X PCI-Express Graphics Card
III. Display Resolution:
1080p via VGA although the TV I am using included DVI/HDMI input too.
IV. Power Supply Unit Specification (Brand, Wattage, Ampage, Age). If possible, please provide a link to a website containing the power supply specifications:
OCZ Stealth XStream 600W PSU - SLI Ready ATX2.2 12cm Fan
It is almost 3 Years old and I am not positive about a link but the original link (from my conformation email) doesn't work anymore.

V. Case Specifications(N/A, Model, Length, Low Profile, Cooling, HTPC, Water, Silent):
The case is a mATX case that I recycled from an old PC but had enough room for the 4870 so there is plenty of space. Cooling in not great but the 4870 managed without overheating but if the new card ran cooler that would certainly be a bonus. I don't thing there is anything else relevant about the case but feel free to ask.
Purchase Details:
I. Budget? Please be sure to include currency (If not USD), retailer preferences & specify whether rebates are a viable option.
I am from the UK so I am using GBP (£) and preferably I would like something new because I want it to last as long as possible. My budget is around £85 but if I can get something suitable for less I would rather save money that upgrade further.
II. Any particular preferences (Manufacturer[nV or AMD], Brand[XFX, Sapphire, EVGA, etc], Cooling Solutions)?
No preference.
III. Do you plan to have any Multi-GPU solutions such as Crossfire or SLI?
No.
IV. Have you previously looked at a product(s) which you feel would fit your needs?
From google searches and the bits of research I could do I have started to look at the HD 6770 but the main reason I am asking is because I honestly don't know what to look for.
V. What are your needs for this GPU? Which games(If any)do you intend to play? If you have this information at hand, what are the desired detail levels?
Gaming isn't too much of an issue if I do play games it is classic games that have never caused much of an issue but I do intend to use Autodesk Maya 2010 on it for animating my 4870 handled to as well as I needed it to but I am not sure what is important in a graphics card to Maya.
EDIT : Also I will be watching movies and stuff up to 1080p
VI. Do you plan on overclocking the card you intend to purchase?
This is very unlikely.
Additional Notes
My current card is dead so I need to replace it. I know very little about graphics cards and how they compare to each other so, if you will could you explain your recommendations to me so I can try to learn.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Thanks Liam
