I am upgrading an older ATX case. It is a fairly nice case actually, but is older and it's a little cramped inside. The P3B that is in it now fits fine, but all the newer, quality motherboards seem to be really wide and I'm not sure they would fit. Can anyone recommend an ATX motherboard that is as narrow as possible? I can go Athlon or P4, but I would prefer the nforce2 (no budeget for 64bit) or 865pe. Video is not neccesary, but decent sound would be nice. LAN is a plus too. Any help appreciated, thanks!

Biostar M7NCD is about an inch narrower than most motherboards (30.5cm x 19.9cm). They are quite cheap as well (around $50). I just bought two of these for my kids and they setup easy and work flawlessly. There is overcloking support in the bios as well. I didn'y really try it however...

The only other thing you have to think about is the PS. If its older case / older PS, may not meet the need of the power needed of newer CPU + video card.

The Abit KV7 is a narrow-ish motherboard, it's about the same size as my old Abit VA6. It's not NF2 though, it's a Via KT600 board but it has broad support for A32 chips.
