Here's my scenario...
- installed the VIA 4in1 4.27's and the Radeon 7068's and started getting real choppy video when recording in best quality mode.
- played with the custom settings and could never get a smooth, synced video at 640x480 so I reinstalled the drivers off the CD
- video is now recording smooth again BUT now when I have a program scheduled to record from Guide+, I'm getting a atisched error with MFC42.DLL and no matter what I try, I can't get around the error
So far I've tried installing different VIA 4in1's, installing different Radeon drivers, re-installing the multimedia center, re-installing DirectX,
re-installing WinME on top of my current install, finding and deleting ati*.* and reinstalling -- everything I can think of short of reformatting...
Anyone know of a solution or workaround?
Here's my importanta parts system:
Thunderbird 1050mhz
Abit kt7-raid
15gb, 30gb IBM 75gxp
256mb mosel ram
Radeom AIW (was at 183, now clocked back down to stock)
TIA,
souja
