where can I fill a propane tank in Manhattan, NYC?

Can't you fill a propane tank at any gas station? Or most? That's how it is over here on the west.

Yup. Gas stations and hardware stores are your two best bets.

Apparently there is a law prohiting tank refills in manhattan.
