Help quick question

i have 2 computers i want to link through a router they are about 50FT apart...i am confused with all these cat5 cables... iwant to avoid buying one where i have to set up the cable... i am looking for 100FT cable that is pre-made just want to receive it and connect them immediately is this good?CLICK

do you know a reputable vendor that has 75FT cat5 cable for cheap. Newegg doesn't seem to have one

does anyone know if the item above is good for 2 computers connected together via a router?I think crossover is specifically for 2 or more PCs with out a router correct?

A cross over cable connects 2 computers via peer to peer. A straight or twisted pair cable is what you need. A twisted pair is suppose to help with line interference and data jumping lines. There ya go, description in a nut sahell.

Crossover cables are twisted pair. Just for clarification.
Yeah that is why it is called CAT5.
