HELP!!question about spam mail in my hotmail

I just opened a new hotmail account and now i've been getting spam mail. I think it's from the same two companies. It says to click on a link to unsubscribe. I don't know if i should because that might just tell them i have a working account that I check. What should I do?

Hotmail always gets spam email. Best bet is to ignore emails or use the email filters built in. That's what happens with free email service.
