Help putting together a karaoke system

Looking to put together a karaoke system for home. I've got everything neccesary to get the sound portion to work, microphones, a mixer, amps and speakers. .. i've found dvd players thatll do CDG and that seems like a straightforard solution to just throw on the TV. . .
... but my wife has used karaoke systems at her friends houses like "magicsing" and it gives scores and such after each performance and shows onscreen if your pitch is high/low etc and wants something like that . . .
the advantage to the magicsing is it comes with 2000+ songs on a chip.... with the DVD path i have to buy and switch out lots of discs during a sessoin

what's my path of least resistance on this?

In my country one of the most commonly used are HDD based karaoke players like this. It stores all of its songs in the HDD so you don't have to bother switching anymore.
