If you're not going to be buying until January 7th, you might as well wait 2 more days after that for Sandy bridge. (See jaydee, I can be reasonable! :p)

I am planning to overclock my processor to atleast 4ghz and now i'm looking for a good cpu cooler i was thinking of changing my current one to Thermalright Venomous X but im not sure if it's needed, and i thought that i would need atleast a 500w psu?

The 6870 is very power efficient, but if you're going to overclock, then yes a 500W PSU is a good idea. The Venomous X is also a very good cooler and should get you close to 4Ghz.

Looks like the seasonic is pretty pricy though 520w is around 70 pound and higher go's into the 1xx.
