HELP....Power Supply HELP!!!

I'm currently running a dvd rom, cdrw, 40 gig HD, floppy, zip, atlon 1.4 266fsb, 512 DDR, geforce 3 ti200, soundblaster live 5.1, nic card. And i'm running all this with 320 watt of power from a generic manufacturer, i think the name of this ps is superlink or something like that. But i've been having major problems with it because i had an asus a7a266 before and it did this to me so i decided to sell that off and get a gigbyte 7vtxe(kt266a) board. Everything went fine until i bought the volcano 7 and then thats when all my problems came back. So i figured that it has to be the motherboard since there's nothing left to blame. Here's the problem my computer won't boot, it seems like the computer is on, all the fans are running but nothing to the screeen. I've noticed that the light on the eithernet card won't even turn on. Here also another observation that i've noticed if i unplug the case fan to my motherboard, zip, and cd rom it boots up. And after its up i shut down the computer and plug it all back in, everything boots up again. This is really wierd, i don't t know what it could be except for the power supply Let me know what u guys think it is...could it be the cpu. Oh yeah, my system is really unstable while playing games. I won't be able to play any longer than 45 mins without it crashing to my desktop. Well at least not any demanding games like medal of honor, alien vs predator 2, or things of this sort but if i run rogue spear its fine. Let me know what you guys think the problem is.

i have the same superlink 320w PSU and a standard COoler Master HSF for my xp1700.

the only game that i play is NFS5: Porsche Unleashed and that thing locks up 30/40 minutes into the game like yours. however, it's a hacked copy (gasp) and my video card is a piece of crud (Siluro MX200) so it could be attributed to either of those things.

besides the gaming, my system runs stable as heck.. i leave it on 95% of the time and no serious or slightly frequent crashes

the one problem that i have had once in a while is that after shutting down, if you power up, the system would power for 2/3 seconds and then shut off. i'd have to toggle the power switch on the PSU and retry again. ive changed power outlets since then and it hasnt happened again

i just order the enermax 350watt ve fc or something like that the better of the 350watt version. I'm hoping its my power supply but if its not i'm just plain screwed. Let me know what else u guys might think it is.
